Who We Are – The Vision and Philosophy Behind ALLPS
Why we are here: We are witnesses and mere victims of an era where our lives are slaves to confusion, complexities and compulsion of one-faceted truth which is gradually dragging us to post truth era where falsity taking the shape of truth. Our children are not safe of this malady either. What if this is their future too? We believe that it is due to a serious flaw in our education system which only aims at documented academic excellence but almost, never teaches us to acknowledge and appreciate the beauty of rhythm and natural flow of thoughts. And a learning system devoid of the perspectives of beauty miss the most essential objective of learning-realizing truth and could never give us the peace we look for; even worse, the happiness we strive for. We miss our objective of learning on that very day when we are taught that “লেখাপড়া করে যে গাড়ি ঘোড়া চড়ে সে” “He earns better who learns better.” And this practice becomes so strong that eventually we almost forgot that the whole syllabus is decorated with thoughts of great souls who revolutionized our thoughts and we should not use them to fulfil our narrow goals. In such a circumstance we personally feel to create an environment where students can feel the presence and get the blessing of those great soles. So we started ALLPS (Advanced Level Learning in Physical Sciences)
We believe in the eternal teaching of "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" Through this process of learning when one realize the truth he or she earns an eternal bliss, purifies his or her mind and soul and achieves the great power of linking different perspective of a single truth
We believe that Scientific Sadhana, i.e. understanding nature by solving mathematics and other scientific problems and processes, can give the same transcendent experience that a sage has during meditation. So the words of Paul Dirac, the greatest mathematician of all time, said “I consider that I understand an equation when I can predict the properties of its solutions, without actually solving it." Or “A great deal of my work is just playing with equations and seeing what they give." clearly indicate towards the inner intuitive power our mind has to see beyond the equations. Without this mind, one cannot understand that the reality around us, because he cannot see the hints scattered around the path of his journey. This is an inability developed due to ignorance towards meaning of life and incapability to link the hints to connect the truth. We aim at developing these two qualities in students.
The logo of ALLPS represents the eternal triangle of learning, symbolizing its three fundamental pillars:

Each side of the triangle is adorned with the three fundamental colors of science—red, green, and blue, signifying the core essence of physics, life, and technology. This embodies our vision at ALLPS, where we integrate the rudiments of science into everyday learning, making physics not just a subject but a way of perceiving the world.
